IVAN PURPLE was created around 1987. This was quite an original sounding band at its time! We had a lot of fun in Ivan Purple. I don't even remember how many years we were together and where-all we've played, but we had fun. We had everything from the shitty little gig to some fun full one's with a great crowd.

We had a little following in Vancouver when the city was a venue for new artists and there was a great variety of local bands to see.

The college radios took to us right from the get go! We had a new and powerful sound and as with all of my compositions, they work well with visuals. We had Garage Trax, a local neighborhood TV station use our song Desert Sands in their intro video. The UBC radio station used Sensasia extensively for their radio ads. Had an on-air interview with the University in Victoria. Lots and lots of little things that were all fun.
