The song KAHIMBA as featured on the TV Series: NIGHTMAN

I created these songs between my stints with Zu and Black Stone. This material I created from my heart and made the cuts as I deemed they should be heard, not to have any constrictions. A 'let it flow' approach to composition.

During this time is when I composed the Banff Theme and much of my music was heard and used in many TV shows and feature films.

Song Descriptions

Ride the Mountain: I let loose in this song! I wanted to create an all out, as tribal as I can get, song with driving beats. So you can crank the tune in your car and enjoy your drive!

Moon Dance: I wrote this piece for a choreographed dance. It starts out subtle and delicate and builds up to an all out frenzy.

Out of Bounds: Picture a snow boarder who's gone has gone out of bounds and cannot find his way. The snowfall and the night that overcomes him. Lost in the trees on a mountain side. Close your eyes and feel the emptiness that desperation can bring.

Misery: I'm not an activist but this world has to change, and change now! We've got too many wars, too much greed, too much separation. We have one planet, I love this planet, and the diversity it brings.

Lead Balloon: Just an all-out good dance beat to get your body moving! See if you can guess the celebrities voice I used towards the end.

Island: You gotta have a stereo system that can reproduce the bottom end on this one. I used the famous Juno-106 synth and only the Juno could rumble like that!

Kahimba: Sort of a dark dance style of music. I think it's quite different.

Desire: A mood piece.

The Wedding: I originally wrote this piece for piano when I was 15 years old. Once I got to owning some digital instruments that allowed me orchestration, I brought it back to life.

Floor Dance: Part of a dance choreography. I recorded 12 tracks of 12-string guitar on this one. I wanted to see how rich I could make this guitar sound.

Intro to the Night: Also written for a dance. Just a pleasant sounding song.

Stranded: Inspired by Gilligan's Island. Picture Vikings telling a tale
